Here is a low tech approach to what really matters: a good story.

Aside from the fact that his nom de plume is Gordon Dioxide and he lives in the UK, I don’t know anything about the author of these wacky stories. But I stumbled across his website yesterday, and there you will find several children’s stories to print off and read to your children, all written with a bizaare yet endearing, British humour-y slant. I tried out “Kevin the Very Old Rabbit” on a couple of eleven year olds yesterday, and they agreed: great story, very warped. They listened, they were engaged, they laughed….we were all happy. Thank you Gordon, whoever you are!

You can follow her step-by-step tutorial for making these bunny treats here. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if these were served for lunch at the United Nations. Eh???
